A public record for a developing book project about what changes when AI enters institutional decisions; its work status is unknown, and this site presents no manuscript, excerpt, or publication claim.
The project frames transformation as more than acquiring a new tool. Its proposed question is how problem definition, authority, and review change when models enter everyday work. Output may become faster, yet speed alone cannot determine who exercises judgment, which evidence deserves weight, or how an institution notices effects that its performance measures leave out.
A book under this title could distinguish a bounded experiment from institutional change: what merits automation, what evidence should precede expansion, how dissent remains possible, and when withdrawal is the responsible decision. This is an editorial description of the project. It does not establish a completed book, an available manuscript, or a publishing agreement.
