Arabic is the origin of this editorial system. Rhythm, spacing, extension and marginalia organize meaning rather than decorate a finished page.
Arabic uses Noto Naskh Arabic for reading and headings, and IBM Plex Sans Arabic for controls. English and Russian use Noto Serif. Chinese uses local system fonts to avoid large downloads. Open-source fonts are hosted locally.
Primary text arrives from the server. Small browser features add search, preferences, filtering and optional listening without changing the article text or its editorial status.
The covers are conceptual artwork created in code for this site, not official book covers. No generated portrait or invented record of a real event appears here.
