The title suggests that power does not sit in one place. It moves through joints: a technical standard, an infrastructure layer, an access permission, a procurement decision, or the ability to exit. When a foundational technology changes, it may also change who can act and who depends on another party, even when the public language remains focused on efficiency and innovation.
The project could examine those joints through practical questions: where does capacity concentrate, which alternatives remain, who can object, and what happens when the system fails? This is an editorial frame for the book’s possible territory. It does not attribute a completed thesis or establish a manuscript or publication schedule.
